A morning when I make it through ten miles is always a good morning. This run really made me think about when I love to look at my stopwatch and when I do not need to. Usually when I do my standard ten mile day to day run, I warm up for a few miles, do some speed work for a few miles, and then do some cool down miles. Ideally ten strides before and after… I think that it is important to have my GPS to tell me what mile I am on, because miles start overlapping really fast. I really pay attention to the time after three miles. Three miles in, I am always warmed up and ready to make my legs move for mile split times.
