I’m fixing up two violins to give private lessons on this summer and just bought a new fine tuner. It’s been a bigger project than I thought, but it is coming along for sure. I’m the cool private instructor who lets student just use her instruments, maybe… 🙈

Last night, before bedtime I listened to Hilary Hahn's new album Paris, which is very gorgeous music I highly reccomend. 💐 I can listen to it running on the track or finding my Zen, I always look for new classical music because a lot of more popular genres are noise to me. Usually, I have a friend make playlists for me.😊 Hilary Hahn is an incredible violinist. There is something so amazing about the product of a prodigy who devoted their entire life to something, and the order of the pieces is very smooth. Love it and Paris itself, what girl does not like everything French? 🦄

Joseph Hsia, 20, USA (48:48)

Emily Shehi, 22, USA (1:03:30)

I really enjoyed watching this competition last night, there were a lot of outstanding  Bach and Paganini performances. Emily and Joseph were my favorite, because they both wore masks for their entire solo, and hopefully received bonus points!

When I was in Kodiak driving around with my little cousin Lauren and her best friend Bailey all the radio played out there was Toxic. So I thought this video was extra cute!😊
