How to run faster

A client I am coaching asked a great question, " How do I run faster?"  I gave them the secret...😻

To run faster you need to train faster.😸

If you run 15 minute miles in practice, you’ll race 15 minute miles.

If you run 11 minute miles in practice, you’ll race 11 minute miles.

If you run 8 minute miles in practice, you'll race 8 minute miles.

If you run 6 minute miles in practice, you'll race 6 minute miles.

Running is that simple. A stopwatch is really essential in the marathon distance to properly pace yourself, it's like how a graphing calculator for linear algebra is a must. You need to know the exact time you are trying to run, before starting a race and pace yourself the entire time. If you go for a goal, you will fall pretty close. 😼

Go into a race feeling confident about your practice, and everything will fall into place. 💞 No surprises, unless you’re faster, of course. 😸
