TRI
Dear Runner Lovers,
I just received a very informative email from Red Zeppelin Productions, a Springfield Virginia based company. They just made a movie about a triathlete's journey. Here is some of the email I received from Michael.
I'm writing on behalf of Red Zeppelin Productions, a film production company in the Washington, DC metro area. We are preparing for the release of our feature film, TRI, the first narrative feature film about the sport of triathlon. Our award-winning film is an inspirational drama that primarily appeals to young women and those who live an active lifestyle
Natalie (Award-winning actress Jensen Jacobs), an ultrasound tech with a history of not finishing things, is inspired by a cancer patient to sign up for her first triathlon. Natalie is introduced to the strange (and aerodynamic) world of triathletes and meets a colorful cast of characters as she trains for the Nation’s Triathlon. With the support of her new teammates, she digs deep to discover just how far she can push her mind and body.
The film is available now for pre-order, and releases in the US and Canada on Amazon, google Play, ONDEMAND, and other platforms December 1, 2016 - it will make a great gift for the holidays!
TRI will also be available in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland January 23, 2017.
Here is the movie trailer:
I looked up where the movie is going to be screened in select theaters. I was really intrigued by the opening night, that's sold out... in RICHMOND, VIRGINIA. You can actually meet the Director Calvin Jai Jamison, during that premier event weekend. I researched and read all about Calvin Jai Jamison, and he is actually from RICHMOND VIRGINIA, and studied at Oxford University and American University’s MFA Film program. Here is a link to his website where you can see more of his work, http://www.jaijamison.com/about/
I hope everyone found this to be very informative.
Happy Running,
That Pretty Runner
