Molly Seidel did it! It is so AMAZING to see a USA woman finish top three winning the bronze medal in the Olympics! She is the only US woman to be top three and medal in the Olympic Marathon in decades, and Molly is only 27. It is official Molly Siedel is the best USA Olympic Marathon Runner of all time, this is history! So incredible, I have chills and cannot find the words to describe how happy I am for this stunning woman. Wow. 😍

This morning, I was really proud of myself for sticking to my mileage. 10 miles of hills that made me deserve my breakfast of an everything bagel with two poached eggs this morning. You need something for your body to metabolize when you run a lot. It was nice to wear my Kodiak hoodie in a comfortable 60 degree atmosphere running around town. So far so good. I hope this school year nothing major disrupts my life and I just have a goal accomplishing year. No more running breaks from skin cancer surgery or ex’s trying to be friendly or corona virus, oh schucks. If I can do pro marathoning hopefully all the personal issues will work themselves out by the end of corona too. This week I am going to try to script out videos about running and make them with an actual camera which should be a pretty big deal for me.

I thought this was like the cutest music video, it makes me want to get all dressed up and play my violin.

This morning I did my ten mile morning session, anticipating a night session as well. After my run I did my fifty toe touching sit ups and it was a very good stretch for my entire body.

On a side note, I always run my races with people I have loved and lost written on the inside of my race bib. I have always done this, first with Sandy one of my best friends’ mom’s who passed away from cancer our senior year of highschool which was awful, and then when my grandfather passed away from Merkle cell skin cancer shortly after of course I wrote his name on my race bib. The reason I am saying this very common yet special thing that I do is, my sister brought something to my attention this weekend. Someone wants my sister to give them money and they put names of people other’s have lost on their bike jersey, which I find interesting, perhaps a good way to make money for a fundraiser. My thing is, I do so many fundraisers and have raised so much money for cancer research by running marathons for ten years, I love how special it is to write my grandfather’s name on my race bib and keep it special and separate from money making. Writing names on my race bib is something I sit down, and pray on and cry about before every event, it is very sensitive. I have always fundraised so much, and I just wonder why a random person would want my grandfather’s name on their back. However, it might not be nice of me to share that I don’t necessarily agree with it. Oh boy. Sometimes those controversial things come up, and I need to not go there. Maybe I just need my grandfather’s name to be a special thing for us, and we can still cut that person a check for whatever their doing, which I would literally say to a friend if they asked. My grandfather always loved to see me run and play my violin, I am actually dedicating my upcoming violin album to him.
