Reading

It felt Amazing over the long weekend to have the time to sit down on my deck underneath an umbrella, overlooking the garden whilst reading literature for pleasure. Balancing school, work, life and running has left little time for reading lately. These are the books that I have read and re-read the last several days. I highly reccomend them all, especially Coach Wooden’s book!

Latest & Greatest

I have decided to do a Virtual Marathon this October on a track, and have my dad film me running. 🍷 I am very excited, as we have always made a joke about him running in front of me holding a camera the entire 26.2 miles, for every race all of these years, and now it’s basically happening. 😉 I will actually be training for this marathon, to run well, which is a positive goal to have prepping for my spring season. Then, we will worry about running Boston or LA. 😻Next fall, I do not know how much time my PhD program and working will give me to run, so hopefully races are back this spring and I run fast enough to be happy...🙈Nevertheless, I am looking forward to these upcoming months of running with a specific goal. 😁

Here is the link to a feature on Brain Injury Survivor and Ironman Triathlete & Marathon Runner. Eric, is a writer and blogger, https://esposwimbikerun.com/. Currently, Eric is working on publishing a book about overcoming his brain injury as an athlete. I enjoyed speaking with Eric, and creating this feature highlighting our interview and his social media content!
