Dear Runner Lovers,

Flying home on Thursday night was fantastic.  It was funny, because there are no direct flights to Syracuse, and at the last-minute I decided to come home and not go somewhere else...because I miss my sisters... so my connecting flight was in DC.  Usually, I just fly into one of the airports in NYC, but it was fun flying to our nations capital.  Everything was lit up at night, very cool.  I had not been there since nationals for lacrosse, a few summers back.  Maybe over this summer, I can explore more than the airport in DC, that sounds like a good sister adventure. 😄

I finally arrived home at 3am, and then at 8am, my mom woke me up with my little Chihuahua because she was scratching at my bedroom door!  So, I hugged my puppy for a little bit before going on a fifteen mile run.  Normally, Friday is an easy day but I missed being home and decided to run all through my town. 😅💕👣

My first mile was 6:15, and my tempo stayed around there for like 5ish.... Then I stopped looking at my watch and enjoyed the scenery!  I'm not always big on timing myself, it goes back to my cross-country days.  Coach always said not to use a stopwatch, he always wanted us to race and not think about our times... Hahah just figure out how to beat the person in front of you🙃.  I love my watch, just sometimes I do not dare look... you cannot PR everyday and I would be miserable if I always ran for time!  Do you always time yourself!?

Today, was the Shamrock run here in Syracuse NY! 4 very hilly miles!  Then, everyone runs over to the Blarney Stone for Bloody Mary's (so delicious we dreamed about them)!  We also, were watching the SU men's basketball game!! 😋☘👣🏅😃🍀🍀🍀🍀

TOO MUCH FUN!!!

I hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend! xoxo

Stay Chic,

That Pretty Runner

I would choose my sisters over the ocean any day, because I miss them so much when I'm away at college, but at the same time I do love the beach....
